Snow Relocation
And Hauling

When on-site storage fills, we stack, relocate or truck the snow off the property so you are not losing parking for the rest of the winter.

Loaders, blowers and tandem dump trucks Pile capacity tracked all season Load counts recorded Scheduled off-hours where possible

When Snow Has To Move

Most properties have room to pile two or three storms. After that the piles start taking parking spaces, blocking sightlines at exits and covering the drains that everything has to melt into.

We track how much storage is left through the season and raise it with you before it becomes a problem, rather than the week the lot runs out of room in February.

Depending on the site, that means consolidating the piles with a loader, relocating snow to a different part of the property, or loading it into tandem dump trucks and taking it off site entirely.

How It Is Scheduled

01

Monitoring

Storage capacity is reviewed after every significant storm, not just when it runs out. You get told before the lot is full.

02

On-Site First

Consolidating and relocating within the property is cheaper than hauling, so that comes first wherever there is room for it.

03

Hauling Off Site

When there is nowhere left, trucks are scheduled for your quietest hours so the work does not take parking during the day.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is hauling priced?
Relocation within the property is usually hourly on equipment and labour. Off-site hauling is priced per load or hourly depending on the site, and load counts are recorded on every visit.
Is hauling part of a seasonal contract?
Usually not. Seasonal pricing covers plowing and salting. Relocation and hauling depend entirely on how much snow falls, so they are quoted separately at rates agreed before the season.
How much notice do you need?
For planned relocation, a few days. We would rather schedule it with you than be called the morning the lot has run out of space, which is why capacity gets reviewed all season.
Can you work overnight?
Yes. Most hauling is scheduled off-hours so trucks and loaders are not competing with your traffic for parking and lanes.
What about the mess left behind in spring?
Where piles sat there will be sand, grit and litter. Spring clean-up of those areas is part of the service, and it is included in the proposal rather than added afterwards.
